Ordering a Custom Tattoo

There are three ways to get your tattoo — pick whichever fits you:

How to Apply

Our standard temporary tattoos apply in about a minute:

1. Start with clean, dry skin — no lotions, oils, or sunscreen on the spot.
2. Peel off the clear protective backing.
3. Place the tattoo sticky-side down where you want it and press it flat, with no wrinkles.
4. Press a wet cloth firmly against the paper backing for about 30 seconds.
5. Gently peel the paper away and let the tattoo set for a few minutes before touching it or covering it.

Making it last: pat the tattoo dry after showers instead of scrubbing, keep lotions and oils off it, and moisturize lightly. With a little care, expect several days of wear — up to about 10 days.

Sizing

At launch, most designs will be offered in two go-to sizes: about 2" × 2" and 3" × 3". Not sure which to pick? 2" × 2" is great for wrists, ankles, and smaller spots; 3" × 3" gives bigger designs room to show their detail.

Either way, your proof email confirms the exact size before anything is printed — if you want it adjusted, just reply to the proof and we'll fix it before production.

Shipping & Production

Every tattoo is made to order: production starts only after you've approved your proof, so what arrives is exactly what you signed off on.

We're finalizing production and shipping windows with our printing partners right now. Exact timelines will be posted here and at checkout when we launch — we'd rather give you real numbers than guesses.

Returns & Problems

Because every custom tattoo is made just for you — and for hygiene reasons — we can't accept returns for change-of-mind.

But if something's wrong, we make it right. If your order arrives damaged, misprinted, or different from the proof you approved, email us a photo of the problem at thefresshdesignz@gmail.com and we'll replace it or refund you. Simple as that.

Safety

Our tattoos are printed by our partners using cosmetic-grade, skin-safe inks made for temporary tattoos. A few common-sense guidelines:

• Sensitive skin? Do a small patch test first — apply a small piece, wait 24 hours, and check for any reaction before going full-size.
• Skip broken or irritated skin — don't apply to cuts, rashes, sunburn, or freshly shaved skin, and keep tattoos away from eyes and lips.
• Kids' designs: an adult should apply and supervise — they're made to be fun, and a grown-up's help keeps them that way.
• If irritation happens, remove the tattoo with baby oil or rubbing alcohol and don't reapply to that spot.
